The ground floor has a useful rear porch, a fully-equipped kitchen, a huge living room, and a family bathroom with storage space above. A spiral staircase leads from the living room to the first floor, where there are a landing; two large bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and private balconies; and another family bathroom with storage space above. Steps from the rear balcony lead up to a huge roof terrace, with safety railings and steel frame for summer shade. There are amazing sea and mountain view from the balconies as well as the roof terrace.

Outside to the front, there is a small verandah. To the side, there is gated car parking. To the rear, there is a large private garden with flower beds and vegetable areas; paved areas for sitting beneath shade provided by apricot and mulberry trees; and external lighting.

INTERESTING INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA

Tavronitis is a central location for daily getaways to nearby areas of a great tourist interest. At a distance of 1-5 km there is the historic Moni Gonia Monastery of Kolymvari as well as the Orthodox Academy of Crete and Marathokefala cave (panoramic view) where the crypt of a Christian saint is located. At a distance of approximately 2 km there is the German War Cemetery where 4000 paratroopers laid to rest; they died in the battle of Crete during the Second World War. The organized beach of Tavronitis (to the east) is 20 km long and ends to the beach of the city of Chania. Along the beach of Tavronitis one may find many picturesque taverns, cafeterias and bars. This beach is ideal for lovely walks along the coast. At a distance of 18 km to the west, small vessels depart from the port of the town of Kissamos every hour, carrying tourists to a fantastic sea shore and a historic islet where they leave them for some hours and then return them to the port.

Finally at a distance of 40-50 km (to the southwest) there is the town of Palaiochora with endless crystal clear water beaches as well as the area of Sougia and Elafonisi, visited by thousands of tourists from around the world each year.
